"Tiny House" (about 900 sf) with 2 private bedrooms (king and queen beds) plus huge sleeping loft for the kids (3 single mattresses, games, VCR). Resort property has about 20 "tiny house" cabins as rentals or for sale, but this one (and our other identical property #115) is privately owned and well-equipped to sleep 4 adults in bedrooms plus up to 3 children in large sleeping loft. Not suitable for tiny tots (steep stairs up to loft and porch/open decks over water) except maybe tiny baby in portable crib (not provided) in king bedroom. Extra cleaning routine includes regular cleaning plus leaving the house unoccupied at least 24 hours after cleaning for your safety. We leave disinfectant sprays and wipes in the home for you to use if you wish on often-touched surfaces such as counters, light switches and remotes. Kitchen is equipped like your mother would do it. Drive time to Houston is less than a hour. **Because of Covid, we rent only to small families--no large groups. Guidelines say Risk is lower when a family stays together in self-contained unit without the need to share bathrooms with outside people. A 1,000 square foot multi-level deck spans the whole width of the house. Enough for a dance floor! It is equipped a misting system that keeps the spiders away. Four different fans are available to keep you cool even when there is not a lake breeze. The upper deck is the “outdoor living room”. It has a couch, two gliders, and a table and chairs for two. It overlooks the hot tub below. A few steps down, the main deck includes a smoker with infrared gas grill, and 2 wrought iron tables; one seats 8 and one seats 4. Plus additional chairs, snack tables, serving cart, benches, and 2 lounge chairs. The lowest level deck is gated for safety and has a 7 person hot tub with over 73 jets! The HUGE backyard is ready for fun and games. It includes an octagonal deck that holds a table for four. Connected to the lighted double boat dock is another large deck for fishing and lounging. WARNING: The streets are narrow and boats are being pulled through to reach the Marina so NO STREET PARKING. Lake and Boat house amenities: Off our front yard (lakeside) the lake is designated as no wake zone so water craft are required to slow enough to not create a wake. This makes swimming and playing in lake at dock safer. Water level is usually about 3-4 feet at bulkhead and about 7- 8 feet at ladder off pier. Boat slip areas are much deeper to accomodate watercraft. You will find a convenient outdoor shower on the side of the boathouse for you to rinse off right after you jump out of the lake. There is area for you to tie your jet ski right off the dock or use boat slip to right of our boat lift. Conveniences: There are hair dryers in all bathrooms, Plenty of beach towels so no need to bring any. Lots of pillow types to choose from but bring your favorite if you are particular. It is beautifully lit at night with water features to enjoy even if you are not swimming. There is great fishing off the dock and you'll see lots of boats on the lake passing by. Fisherman are in the canal regularly each morning and late afternoon. Bring your fishing gear, pool toys and towels. Dock your rental or owned boat at your back door. Stairway into the lake to get on your floats or hang out poolside high up overlooking the lake. I'll have a rolling cooler on the back porch by the large propane grill. Plenty of deck chairs and umbrellas. Kitchen is outstanding. I have every appliance you can imagine from crock pots, rice cookers, blender, mixers to a pancake grill.
